TechHope Transitions welcomes Oleg Koval as Chair of IT

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Oleg Koval to the Board of TechHope Transitions (THT) as our Chair of IT. His appointment reinforces our commitment to providing a technically rigorous and industry-relevant education for the next generation of Ukrainian IT professionals.

With over 20 years' experience in software engineering and leadership, Oleg brings expertise in information systems, system architecture, and full-cycle development.

Currently a Senior Engineer and Team Lead at Meazure Learning, Oleg has led the transformation of the company’s video streaming infrastructure, earning Most Valuable Player recognition for his efforts. He has also developed award-winning multimedia solutions at Discover Video and Spilna Sprava, and previously held a key leadership role at a fast-growing tech start-up.

Oleg’s tech stack includes C/C++, GoLang, Python, WebRTC, FFmpeg and Docker, among others. He is renowned for his hands-on technical abilities, leadership skills and ability to mentor others, helping teams to solve complex challenges and build scalable solutions.

As Chair of IT, Oleg will guide the technical direction of our programmes, support instructors and mentors, and ensure that students gain practical, in-demand engineering skills that align with today’s global tech landscape.
