Our first incubator onboarding-summer school launch at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv was a great success
The theoretical part was filled with a wealth of useful information, specifically on how to correctly create software products, the stages of development, and team collaboration - from discussions with clients to the final stages of the project...
The practical part tested our skills… This was an experience that is not easily found, and especially not for free. I can and want to recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn not only theory but also gain experience in real software development. You will be taught by specialists recognized in America - experts in their fields.

Everything was well-organized, and the information provided was both interesting and useful.
We worked productively in teams, which enhanced our understanding of the mechanisms behind creating an IT product.
The combination of theoretical and practical components was especially beneficial, allowing us to apply what we learned in real-time. Overall, it was a rewarding experience that deepened my knowledge and skills in the field.

From Launch to Growth: the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Winter School Expands Our Impact
I’m glad I became a participant of the winter school, as I gained a lot of new practical and theoretical knowledge.
I especially want to highlight the opportunity to work on a real project - it not only allowed me to apply what I had learned in practice but also to experience how a real team operates.
It was particularly great that we were supported by experienced mentors who always provided quick feedback, useful advice, and clearly explained anything that was unclear.
Overall, the atmosphere was incredibly motivating. Thank you to the organizers for such a great opportunity!
Hi, I wanted to share my feedback on the Winter THT Program - it was incredible! A week of lectures with Shane was certainly challenging, but also very interesting. His delivery, explanations, and the overall structure of the sessions - the way he involved us in discussions and was very open to questions - were all excellent. For me, as a first-year student, it was my very first experience like this.
Special thanks for the practical sessions with Polina and Michael. Michael clearly pointed out what needed to be changed or improved, and Polina’s explanations and support were truly great. I really appreciated that the program focused on teamwork and collaboration, and how it guided us step by step through the project development process. It was amazing - thank you to everyone!

I heard about TechHope Transitions’ Winter School program from my peers at university, which offered 2 weeks of high-load, value-packed lectures by experts in Project management, Business Analysis, and product development. As high as my hopes were for those lessons, they all came true – Winter School was a Blast with a capital B! Some parts were already known to me, while others were spoken about and clarified as much as needed for us to understand precisely how things are in theory and how they are applied in practice. The material was easy to understand, greatly thanks to the great lecturers, including guests and coaches. Almost forgot to mention that though all lectures were spoken English, it was a pleasant task to adapt ourselves, with a lack of language practice, unless real-life work entails it. And it was all only in the first week!
The second one was the true gem of the program – the practical application of acquired knowledge. During the second week there was simulated a situation as close to real as possible was simulated about meeting with the client and getting to know him and his project idea, with further developing it into a real project. We had done almost everything by ourselves, with a bit of guidance from other experts and coaches, and by the end of the week, if anyone looked at the work we had done, it would be nearly impossible to believe we knew nothing of process 2 weeks prior! It served not only as a surprise, but also gave a real experience on how things are done and what can be expected at different stages of the product lifecycle.
Overall, the experiences and memories we gained during Winter School are to be treasured, the bonds we formed not to be forgotten, and the knowledge is to be applied. I am very proud that I was a part of this program and would definitely recommend it for anyone else!
