We are thrilled to share TechHope Transitions participation in AI Summer School 2026 (https://ai.lnu.edu.ua/), organized by Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
The event brings together 1,092 participants from 56 countries, including 596 students representing 227 educational institutions (125 Ukrainian and 102 international), 260 university lecturers and researchers, and 236 IT industry professionals. This year's program features 70 speakers from 21 countries, creating a unique platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and discussions on the latest developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, computer vision, natural language processing, and data science.
This year, our Chair of Operations Shane Molinari opened the series with a presentation on “Quantum Risk to AI Systems: What Every Engineer Should Understand About Harvest-Now, Decrypt-Later.” The session highlighted why quantum risk is not just a future cryptography issue, but also an engineering, data governance, and systems-design concern. For AI systems, long-lived data, model artifacts, training pipelines, identity systems, and sensitive operational records all require a longer-term risk lens.
The discussion that followed was especially valuable, with participants asking thoughtful questions that will continue offline around the technology, engineering implications, and career paths in this space. That kind of engagement is exactly what makes programs like AITss valuable.
